A Little About Us
We are a small family-owned and operated business located in the heart of northeast Ohio and recently relocated from the mountains of northern Georgia. We specialize in custom furniture and home décor. We started Heartworn Hardware shortly after our son was born so we could focus on our growing family and local community, while doing what we love. Most of our products are constructed with heartworn material allowing us to provide honest and competitive pricing. We focus on structurally sound products built and made to order. We encourage creative commissions and enjoy getting to know our customers. We take every project with careful attention and detail, from 12-foot built-in’s to single 8×10-inch picture frames. We are just as passionate about making & creating as we are about our family and community. Heartworn Hardware was created with that very sentiment in mind. Heartworn Hardware is about comfort and peace of mind. Its your dream, we just build it.

We can be found both on INSTAGRAM & FACEBOOK and would love to have your support! Shipping is available on qualified orders. Items that we currently have in stock with shipping availability can be found and purchased here on our website through The HWH Shop. Our products are custom and typically made to order. Prices vary depending on material and style. Due to the fluctuation of stock, material cost, and variations, our products pictured in our galleries do not have advertised pricing. Please do not hesitate to contact us for a free no obligation quote.
Our Materials
Many of our products are constructed with heartworn material. Heartworn material is recycled material that is given a new life; century barn beams, former home framing material and discarded crate lumber are a few examples of heartworn lumber. Though most of our stock is heartworn, we are not limited. We welcome the use of 1st generation lumbers and exotic woods such oaks, maples, and walnut. Most 1st generation timbers are harvested, rough sawn, and kiln dried at credited mills local to our immediate area, such as DOLL LUMBER in Southington, OH, then milled to project specification by us in our facility.

Dimensions and drawings for every item made have been retained and can be recreated as well as modified to our customers’ expectations. Home Furnishings
Our home furnishing gallery consists of finished furniture products that are used inside the home or outside in the patio and garden – furniture from Adirondack sets by the campfire to custom bedding. Any of these products can be recreated with alterations, styles and colors available. New Ideas are also very welcome. What is your home lacking?
Dry Goods: Décor & Art
Our dry goods gallery contains more of the smaller decorative and functional Items we produce. So if your looking for hanging planters & wine racks or phone accessories and handcrafted jewelry boxes, we can do it all. We have a collection of dry goods in stock and ready to ship. All dry goods in stock can be purchased here on our website from our SHOP. Many of our dry goods are small, inexpensive and personal making them ideal gifts. Ideas are very welcome as we adore them and thoroughly enjoy co-created pieces with our customers.
Custom Art and Wall Hangings
Our Art and wall hangings are hand crafted and designed solely by us. Varying from custom clocks, hand drawn burning, and geometrical shaped reclaimed wood mosaics. As with our Dry goods we do have a collection of original artwork ready to ship and can be found here on our website, in our SHOP. Art provides a comfort and personality to one’s home with a sense of individuality; we would love to help you express that!
Refunds & Returns
Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds, returns or exchanges. However, we are deeply concerned with your appreciation of are products. If you notice a flaw, if the item(s) is not quite what you expected, or something has been damaged in some aspect – please let us know immediately. All cases will be reviewed personally and individually. Your happiness with your purchase is our top concern and we will do all that is necessary to ensure that.
